Congratulations to Chris Stallings who busted thru all 4 Mud Boggs in just 31 seconds to claim first place and $125.00. Of the 22 rigs running only 3 trucks made it all the way through. Most fell victim to hole #3!

The next mud bogg at HNH is scheduled and approved for Saturday September 6th. Truck Mud Bog. For more info or to print a flyer click on the above link. Feel free to post at local gas stations or eateries.

HNH will also begin an ATV Mud Bogg Series starting Sunday September 7th @ 2.00pm. For an official flyer please click on the following link. ATV Mud Bog. This first mud bogg will consist of two classes: 4x4 atv’s and Side X sides or utv’s. As the competition grows we will increase the number of classes.

WARNING: This is not a mud race in 6 inches of mud!!! Be prepared to deal with real mud!!!! Got the baddest ATV or UTV out there?? Then come lay claim to winning the HNH ATV MUDD BOGG CHALLENGE!

LABOR DAY WEEKEND

HNH will be open Friday-Mon. with free camping on Fri, Sat, and Sun night. Wheel Fri-Mon for just $30.00 or per day for just $10.00 per rig.

Bring the whole family and camp out under the stars.

ALL ATV RIDERS MUST WEAR THERE HELMETS WHILE IN THE TRAIL SYSTEM THE ENTIRE TIME. This does not apply to utv’s.

I would like to thank everyone once again for helping maintain the beauty of the park. As many of you are aware the park is regularly patrolled to pick up any trash, check trail status, and to loop the perimeter of the park to ensure all perimeters are secure. For several weeks now, someone trespassing on HNH property has been cutting perimeter caution tape on the “mud run” and is proceeding to open up the orange painted gates which lead to property not part of HNH. We have a good idea who is cutting the tape and opening the gates since HNH is only open on Saturday’s 8-6 and Sunday’s 8-6. Ironically enough the only tape or fence or gate that has ever been open have been those along the mud run.?????????

If you happen to see fresh cut caution tape please notify the park staff immediately as it is likely “someone” is waiting to film you on the adjoining property. If you are approached by anyone with a camera or asking questions, simply ignore the individual and notify park security. This “someone” only sits along the mud run.

HNH Decals are back from the press. Your rig or atv must have one to enter the trail system. This sticker is good for a lifetime. Cost is just $5.00. IF you own and ATV and a rig, you must have a sticker for both. IF you lose a sticker it is just $5.00 to replace it. This decal will also “grandfather” you in to the $10.00 fee to ride whenever the park is open. HNH will increase its fee to $15.00 for the 2009 season to help pay for gravel for new parking lot.

UPDATES! UPDATES! UPDATES!

Where do I begin???? So many great things have and are taking place at HIllzNHollarz this year. We are working hard to expand our HNH Mud BOGG series into a monthly scheduled event as the word is really starting to spread that as of today NO RIG has made it through all 4 holes!!!

Recently the KY Air National Guard contacted HNH about utilizing a portion of the open field in middle of the park for a BlackHawk Helicopter training area due to the natural layout of the park. Fred and myself saw this an honor and as of today have granted the KY Air National Guard full access to HNH for training purposes. No need to be alarmed as these Blackhawks have no gunners or weapons engaged. The purpose of these trainings will allow pilots to land for 30seconds to 1 minute simulation the drop off and pick up of troops and cargo. It is not likely you will see this take place during operating hours, however, if you happen to see or hear one coming in, please use caution and remain a safe distance away. HNH is working to have a scheduled event in which guests of HNH will be able to see the BlackHawk up close and take pictures while it is grounded for this event. More Information to follow...

HillzNHollarz's new Official BlackHawk Recovery Vehicle

Need Your Help

Due to the growth of the park, HNH has decided that we are now in need of a permanent OUTHOUSE system for our guests. I am looking for a club or group that would like to sponsor the OUTHOUSE system which would consist of 6-8 outhouses all divided into individual stalls but as one building. The club or group that sponsors this project would also name the building after the club or group and would receive 1 free club or group ride. If your group or club is interested in this, please call me at 502.655.2425 or e-mail me @ hillznhollarz@aol.com.

See you on the trails - Joe
